KNU Battles Junta Column Near Myawaddy; MNDAA-Junta Lashio Talks Collapse in Kunming

In Karen State, KNU/KNLA-led resistance forces engaged junta columns using aircraft, suicide drones, and heavy artillery near Myawaddy; resistance forces reported capturing soldiers and weapons despite the junta's numerical advantage, while junta troops deliberately destroyed civilian homes and forced civilian recruitment. Separately, in Sagaing Region's Kanbalu Township, local People's Defence Organisation and allied forces attacked a joint junta-Pyu Saw Htee militia unit on the Kar Bo-Kyi Kone road around 6:30am, killing 5 and injuring 8 on the junta/militia side with no resistance casualties. In parallel diplomatic developments, MNDAA resumed talks with the regime in Kunming over territorial control of Lashio; the junta demanded return of the whole township while MNDAA offered only partial wards, and talks ended in an impasse.
