Junta Gyrocopters Bomb Kanyin Village, Ayadaw Township — Pregnant Woman Among Dead

Military airstrikes across Sagaing and Magway Regions killed at least 4 civilians and injured roughly 9 others on July 13-14, 2026. On July 14, three gyrocopters (light attack aircraft) launched from Monywa's Northwestern Regional Military Command bombed Kanyin village, Ayadaw Township, Sagaing Region, killing a pregnant woman (and her unborn child) and another woman, and critically injuring one man.
