Russian Missile and Drone Barrage Kills 8, Wounds 37 Across Seven Oblasts

Russia launched a combined ballistic missile, cruise missile and drone attack overnight into September 22, striking industrial and civilian sites across Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kyiv and Poltava oblasts — 22 locations in total. At least 8 people were killed and 37 wounded. The heaviest toll was in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, where ballistic missiles hit industrial facilities in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad; a strike on the Interpipe plant in Dnipro killed 4 employees and halted production. A separate strike on Katerynivka in Kharkiv Oblast killed a 45-year-old woman and wounded a 13-year-old boy. One person was killed and 11 wounded across Donetsk Oblast (Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Krasnotorka, Druzhkivka), and one was killed and 9 wounded, including a child, in Zaporizhzhia city and district. A Naftogaz facility in Poltava Oblast was also struck; no casualties were reported there.
