SAF drones struck residential neighborhoods in Lagawa, a town in West Kordofan under RSF control, killing at least 15 people and wounding 23. The RSF reported the toll as 17 dead and 25 injured. An eyewitness reported thick smoke rising from several neighborhoods in central Lagawa in the early morning hours. The RSF accused the SAF of 'systematic shelling of hospitals, markets, and residential neighbourhoods,' drawing condemnation from humanitarian organizations alongside the Al Daein hospital strike three days earlier. The Lagawa strike was one of multiple SAF drone attacks on civilian-populated RSF-held towns in Kordofan in late March 2026.
