RSF Seizes Wad Madani, Capital of Gezira State

RSF forces captured Wad Madani, the capital of Gezira State and Sudan's second most populous city. The fall of Wad Madani was strategically catastrophic for the SAF, giving RSF control of Sudan's agricultural heartland and displacing over one million people. Atrocities and looting were reported across the city in the aftermath of the RSF takeover.
