US-Saudi 72-Hour Ceasefire Immediately Violated

A US- and Saudi-brokered 72-hour ceasefire was declared but was violated almost immediately, with fighting continuing in Khartoum and other cities. Multiple subsequent ceasefires announced throughout April and May also collapsed within hours of taking effect. Civilian evacuation efforts from Khartoum began under difficult conditions.
