Day 787: 28-Year-Old Shot Dead Inside Motorcycle Workshop in Escuinapa's Pueblo Nuevo Neighborhood

Around 2:44 AM on Friday, September 18, 2026, residents of Río Quelite street in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood of Escuinapa reported hearing multiple gunshots. Responding authorities found a 28-year-old man, identified as Damián, dead inside a motorcycle repair workshop with several gunshot wounds; a black motorcycle was found next to his body. No arrests were reported. The killing was the first of four homicides recorded across Sinaloa that day.
