Day 787: Man Shot Dead on Sofa During Family Gathering in Villa Unión Home

At 2:50 PM on Friday, September 18, 2026, armed men arrived at a home on Calle 20 de Noviembre in Villa Unión, Mazatlán, where a 41-year-old man identified as Julián 'N' was resting on a sofa during a family gathering. An occupant of a red vehicle got out, entered the residence and opened fire without warning, killing him, before fleeing with the others. No arrests were reported.
