Day 779: Man Shot Inside Home in Chula Vista, Southwest Culiacán

Around 3:30 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2026, armed subjects attacked a home on the streets Juan M. Banderas and Rubén Martí, near the Conalep campus, in the Chula Vista sector of southwest Culiacán. A man identified as Martín, 32, was struck by gunfire in the abdomen. He was first taken by private vehicle to a downtown Red Cross station for initial treatment before being transferred by ambulance to a hospital. State investigative police and the Fiscalía mobilized to the scene to process evidence.
