A Myanmar military jet dropped a 300-pound bomb on Bwe Li village, between Samee and Matupi Township in Chin State, on September 12, 2026, targeting an area where residents use Starlink satellite internet. Grocery shops, restaurants and a vehicle were destroyed and livestock killed, but no civilian casualties were reported. Starlink has become a key communications lifeline for resistance-held areas after the junta cut mobile networks and electricity, making it a recurring military target.
