Resistance Forces Mine Junta Convoy Near Natmauk, Magway Region

Local resistance forces laid two minefields targeting a junta convoy of two vehicles carrying about 20 troops in Natmauk Township, Magway Region on the morning of September 6, 2026. The first vehicle avoided detonation after its jammer disrupted the device, but the second vehicle was successfully struck; casualties among the junta troops were not independently confirmed. The attack follows a September 3 ambush by the Natmauk People's Defence Organization that killed 3 soldiers and wounded 15 in the same area.
