Morena Holds 217 Assemblies Nationwide in 'Sovereignty' Mobilization

Morena held 217 informational assemblies across all 32 states over the weekend of July 4–5, framed as defending national sovereignty against 'foreign interference and disinformation.' The mobilization is the first major wave of a party-wide campaign — announced in June following a call from President Claudia Sheinbaum — that plans 2,600 assemblies between June and August, with a longer-term goal of 30 million house-to-house visits by year end.
