Pathankot Air Force Base Attack

Six gunmen from Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) attacked the Pathankot Air Force Station in Punjab on January 2, 2016. The 72-hour siege killed 7 Indian security personnel and all 6 attackers. The attack came weeks after Modi's surprise visit to PM Nawaz Sharif in Lahore. India provided Pakistan with evidence implicating JeM's Masood Azhar; Pakistan's investigation made little progress.
