India Conducts Surgical Strikes Across LOC

Indian Army Special Forces conducted surgical strikes against militant launch pads across the LOC in Pakistan-administered Kashmir on the night of September 28–29, 2016. India claimed to have destroyed seven terrorist camps and inflicted significant casualties. Pakistan denied any Indian troops crossed the LOC, calling the claim a fabrication.
