Israeli Drone Strike Kills One, Wounds Civilians Including Children in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis

An Israeli drone strike hit a gathering of displaced Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis on September 11, 2026, killing one person and wounding at least nine to thirteen others, including children; the wounded were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex. Separately in Gaza City's Al-Daraj neighborhood, Mohammad Shamali died of wounds sustained in a strike the previous day, and an Israeli-occupation vehicle shot and wounded a Palestinian in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp. An Israeli tank also opened fire toward the Ard al-Limoun area of Al-Mawasi; casualties from that incident were unclear.
