Israeli Drone Strikes Hit Displaced Palestinians' Tents in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis

Israeli warplanes and drones struck tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis on September 12, 2026, including one strike near the Shahd Rest Area. WAFA reported four civilians wounded in the Shahd Rest Area strike; separately, the Palestine Red Crescent Society said at least nine people were wounded in a strike on a tent in the wider Mawasi area, with the injured taken to Nasser Medical Complex.
