Israeli Strike Destroys Al-Aqsa Hospital Medicine Warehouses in Deir al-Balah

| Gaza War

An overnight Israeli strike destroyed medicine storage facilities belonging to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, on August 1, 2026. Gaza's Health Ministry said two of the four storage warehouses were completely destroyed and the other two badly damaged, wiping out intravenous fluids, medicines, dialysis supplies, and intensive care materials; the facility received only a 15-minute evacuation warning. The Israeli military said it struck a Hamas hideout near the hospital allegedly used to store weapons but did not disclose supporting evidence. Separate strikes across Gaza City (Sheikh Radwan, Al-Reis, Al-Thalatini Street) and Khan Younis killed at least 7 Palestinians and wounded 76 over the preceding 48 hours, coming just two days after the Board of Peace disarmament agreement was announced.
