Israeli Strikes Kill 5+ Palestinians Across Gaza; IDF Claims Eliminations of Hamas Operatives
Israeli forces carried out multiple strikes across Gaza on April 21, killing at least five Palestinians. Gaza's civil defence agency reported that an Israeli strike killed three people in the Al-Amal neighborhood northwest of Khan Younis, near the Al-Zaqzouq junction, during overnight hours. Separate strikes killed one person in Bureij refugee camp (central Gaza) and one person in Gaza City. The IDF issued statements claiming it eliminated Hamas operatives, including individuals it described as manufacturing and repairing weapons used by Hamas. Clashes also occurred between Hamas and Israeli-backed clan militias operating in Gaza, with Israeli forces providing aerial support. The Palestinian death toll since the October 10, 2025 ceasefire framework took effect has now surpassed 780. The Gaza Government Media Office counts over 2,400 Israeli ceasefire violations since October 2025. Over 32 Palestinians were killed in Israeli operations during April 1–21 alone.
