Ebola Spreads to Haut-Uélé, Fourth DRC Province, as Cases Reach 1,307

Media reports on 29 June 2026 confirmed Ebola had spread to Haut-Uélé, the fourth DRC province affected by the Bundibugyo virus outbreak. One case was detected after an infected person traveled from Bunia, Ituri's capital, into Haut-Uélé and subsequently died.
