Che Guevara Killed in Bolivia

Ernesto 'Che' Guevara was captured and executed by Bolivian Army forces assisted by CIA operatives in La Higuera, Bolivia. Guevara had left Cuba in 1965 to spread revolution in the Congo and then Bolivia. His death was a severe blow to Cuba's revolutionary export strategy. His diary was published by Cuba and became a global symbol of resistance.
