Russian Strike on Pavlohrad Shopping Center Kills 4, Injures Over 60

Russian forces struck a shopping center in central Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, around midday on September 10, killing 4 people and injuring more than 60, including three teenage boys aged 13, 14, and 15, Interior Minister Ivan Vyhivskyi said. The casualty toll rose in stages as emergency crews worked the scene — from 2 killed and 18 injured in the first report to a final count of 4 killed and 60+ injured. Emergency services said a drone struck first, followed less than an hour later by guided aerial bombs, damaging vehicles, retail units, and shops and sparking multiple fires; two State Emergency Service employees were also injured responding. Pavlohrad, about 75 kilometers from the front line, had been considered relatively safe until a first glide-bomb attack hit the city on July 20. Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said the strike was intended to 'inflict maximum casualties, spread fear' among civilians.
