Ukraine Strikes Russia's Ust-Luga Baltic Oil Port for Sixth Time This Year

Ukrainian drones struck the Novatek-Ust-Luga gas processing and transshipment complex in Russia's Leningrad Oblast overnight, sparking a fire and damaging two processing units, according to Ukraine's General Staff and Leningrad Oblast Governor Alexander Drozdenko. Ust-Luga is Russia's largest Baltic Sea oil-export port, handling roughly 700,000 barrels a day, and this marked the sixth Ukrainian strike on the facility since March 2026 as part of Kyiv's sustained campaign against Russian energy export revenue. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed 553 Ukrainian drones were intercepted overnight across multiple regions; no casualties were reported at Ust-Luga. Separately, Russian guided aerial bombs killed at least two people and injured 17 in Kramatorsk and the nearby village of Bilenke.
