Ukraine Liberates Shandryholove, Derylove in Operation Vivaldi's Second Phase

Ukraine's 3rd Army Corps, commanded by Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi, announced on September 20 that it liberated the settlements of Shandryholove and Derylove and established full control of Drobysheve in the Lyman sector of Donetsk Oblast during the second phase of offensive operation "Vivaldi." Ukrainian troops regained roughly 40 square kilometers of territory in this phase, bringing the operation's total to 125 square kilometers regained (50 sq km fully liberated) across both stages. Russia's elite Rubicon drone unit reportedly suffered heavy losses and was withdrawn from the northern Donetsk front line; overall Russian losses in the operation have exceeded 3,000 personnel, per the 3rd Army Corps.
