Ukrainian Drones Strike Novorossiysk Naval Base, Oil Terminal and Frigate Admiral Essen
Ukraine's General Staff and military intelligence (HUR) said Ukrainian drones struck Russia's Novorossiysk naval base and fuel oil terminal overnight into September 9, hitting the frigate Admiral Essen, Kalibr missile launcher positions, and the barracks of a Russian Unmanned Systems Forces company. President Zelensky said a terminal used for oil shipments, facilities within the military harbor, warships and Kalibr launchers were all struck. Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said four people, including a child, were killed and 29 wounded; Russia's Defense Ministry said it intercepted or destroyed nearly 600 Ukrainian drones overnight nationwide.
