Russia Launches Mass Missile and Drone Strike on Ukraine — 392 Drones, Energy Infrastructure Hit
Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on multiple Ukrainian cities on the night of March 23–24, killing at least 4 people and injuring 24 others. Ukraine's Air Force reported Russia attacked with 392 drones (250 Shahed-type), 7 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, 18 Kh-101 cruise missiles, 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles, and 4 X-59/69/31 guided air-to-ground missiles. Ukrainian defenses intercepted 365 of 392 drones and 25 missiles. Six missiles and 27 drones struck 22 locations. Energy infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kherson oblasts was hit, causing power outages across multiple regions. Poland scrambled fighter jets to protect Polish airspace amid the attack.
