The Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) publicly released its Fiscal Year 2025 Consolidated Annual Report on UAP, covering June 2, 2024 through May 30, 2025 — arriving well after the statutory reporting deadline established by Congress. AARO received 319 new UAP reports (284 from the reporting period, 35 backlogged from 2010-2024) and resolved 114 of them, leaving 205 unresolved; it also closed out 256 previously unresolved cases from earlier years, including 238 attributed to a newly expanded capability for identifying satellite-reflection ('satellite flare') false positives. Of the incidents, 274 occurred in the air domain, 44 in space, and 1 in the maritime domain. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand called the report 'another crucial step forward in our understanding of UAPs and toward the transparency that the American people deserve.'
