RSF Attack on Umm Badr Gold Market Kills 5, Wounds 27, Sudanese Civil Group Says
A Rapid Support Forces attack on a gold mining market and surrounding shops in Umm Badr, North Kordofan state, killed five civilians and wounded twenty-seven others on September 21, 2026, according to the Sudanese civil society group Dar Hamar Emergency Room, which accused RSF fighters of looting the market during the raid.
