RSF Captures Ambro and Furuawiya, North Darfur, in Chad-Border Offensive
RSF field commanders announced the capture of Ambro town on June 23 and, the following day, Furuawiya village east of Ambro, as part of a renewed offensive along the Chadian border in North Darfur. A tribal leader reported RSF fighters looting and burning homes before advancing. IOM reported more than 2,200 people displaced from the Orshi Reservoir area and neighboring villages in the preceding week as the RSF push accelerated.
