SAF Drone Strike Kills 50 at Al-Muglad Market and Hospital, West Kordofan

A drone strike attributed to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) hit a market and hospital in the town of Al-Muglad in West Kordofan, killing at least 50 civilians. This strike marked the beginning of an intense surge in drone warfare in the Kordofan region, which would kill over 200 civilians in the following two weeks. UN High Commissioner Volker Türk expressed alarm at the attacks and called on both parties to stop using explosive-laden drones in populated areas.
