NASA and SpaceX Delay Crew-13 Launch After Dragon Oxidizer Leak

NASA and SpaceX announced on August 29, 2026 that the Crew-13 mission to the International Space Station, previously targeted for no earlier than September 12 from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral, is delayed after an oxidizer leak was detected in the Dragon spacecraft's propulsion system during standard prelaunch processing. Joint NASA-SpaceX teams are running additional tests and data review and will complete any necessary rework before a new target date is set. Crew-13 — the second flight of the Dragon 'Grace' capsule — will carry NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins (commander) and Luke Delaney (pilot), Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov to join Expedition 75 aboard the ISS; aside from Watkins, a veteran of Crew-4, it will be the first spaceflight for the rest of the crew.
