CRS-5 — First Drone Ship Landing Attempt (Hard Landing)

During CRS-5, SpaceX made its first attempt to land a Falcon 9 booster on drone ship 'Just Read the Instructions.' The booster found the droneship and performed a precision landing burn but ran out of hydraulic fluid for grid fin control, tipping over on contact. SpaceX called it 'close, but no cigar.'
