Day 793: Gunmen Shoot Up Three Homes and Three Vehicles in South Culiacán, Woman Wounded by Shrapnel

During the morning of Wednesday, September 23, 2026, unidentified gunmen fired on three occupied homes and three vehicles on Calle Constituyente Pastor Rovaix, between Heraclio Bernal and Pablo Macías Valenzuela, in the Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez neighborhood of south Culiacán. A gray flatbed pickup, a white Toyota Camry and a dark blue compact SUV were struck, along with the facades of a white house, a two-story gray house, and a yellow-and-orange house. Dora Aidé 'N', 52, was injured by bullet fragments inside one of the homes. Neighbors reported hearing high-caliber gunfire; the attackers fled before Army personnel arrived, and no arrests were reported.
