Day 788: Municipal Police Seize 3,310 Doses of Drugs from Abandoned Car in Mazatlán's Chulavista

On the night of Saturday, September 19, 2026, Mazatlán municipal police and the Interinstitutional Group located a red Ford with its doors open, abandoned in the Chulavista residential area with no theft report on file. Inside, officers found 3,310 doses of narcotics: 1,675 small bags of granulated methamphetamine, 800 bags of powder identified as cocaine, and 800 bags of marijuana plus 35 hand-rolled cigarettes. The vehicle and substances were secured; no suspects were detained at the scene.
