Luis Mario Zúñiga Ramos, the 49-year-old jewelry-business owner abducted by armed men from the Plaza Real parking lot in Culiacán's Tres Ríos sector on September 17, was released in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 19, after nearly 48 hours in captivity. Investigation Police agents visited his residence and confirmed he had returned home without serious injuries.
