Day 788: Mechanic Dies After Being Shot Inside His Home in Culiacán's Lázaro Cárdenas Neighborhood

Around 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2026, armed men shot a mechanic identified as Faustino Javier 'N' inside his home on Avenida Presidente Adolfo Ruiz Cortines, between Silvestre Revueltas and Carlos Chávez streets, in the Lázaro Cárdenas neighborhood of southern Culiacán, before fleeing. Family members drove him to a hospital in a private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead around 4:00 PM. State Fiscalía personnel processed the crime scene at the hospital.
