Day 772: Two Men Shot Dead Inside Car Wash in Los Ángeles Sector, Culiacán

Gunmen opened fire on two men inside the 'El Rey' car wash at the intersection of the road to Imala and Calle Pomona, in the Los Ángeles sector of northeastern Culiacán, at approximately 3:55 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2026. One victim was found at the entrance of the business office and the other in the rear washing area; both died at the scene. The men were unofficially identified by relatives as Clemente René 'N', 49, a Culiacán resident, and Celio 'N', 48, originally from Guasave. It remained undetermined whether the victims worked at the car wash or were customers. National Guard and federal security agents responded, and state forensic personnel processed the scene.
