Day 757: Bound Man Left With Narco-Message in Aguaruto; Second Man Shot Dead at Mazatlán Home

The Sinaloa Attorney General's Office (FGE) reported three intentional homicides for Wednesday, August 19, 2026, two of them men killed in separate attacks. In Culiacán, a man was found around 2:00 PM on an unpaved street in the Las Coloradas sector of the Aguaruto district, west of the city — his hands and feet bound behind him with orange rope, a red blanket over his body, and an intimidating message left on white cardboard on his chest. In Mazatlán, Ignacio 'N', 29, was shot as he arrived at his home in the Antonio Toledo Corro neighborhood. No arrests were reported in either case.
