Day 750: Man Dies After Being Shot Nine Times in Mazatlán's Casa Redonda Neighborhood

A man was attacked by gunmen on Caracol Street in the Casa Redonda neighborhood of Mazatlán shortly after 3:00 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. He suffered at least nine gunshot wounds. Civil Protection paramedics transported him to a private hospital, where he died around 5:00 PM the same day. The Sinaloa State Attorney General's Office (FGE) opened an intentional-homicide investigation.
