Sheinbaum Sends Housing Reform Initiative to Congress

Sheinbaum sent a legislative initiative to Congress to harmonize the constitutional definition of 'adequate housing' with international standards and the December 2024 housing reform. The initiative was part of the ongoing Housing for Wellbeing (Vivienda para el Bienestar) program targeting 1.3 million new homes by 2030.
