US and Mexico Reach Water Treaty Agreement; Mexico Commits to Annual Deliveries

The U.S. and Mexico reached a formal understanding resolving the water treaty dispute. Mexico agreed to release 202,000 acre-feet of water beginning December 15, 2025, and committed to annual deliveries of 0.35 million acre-feet starting in February 2026. The 5% tariff was lifted following the agreement.
