FAMa Airstrike Destroys IS-Sahel Base Near Ménaka, ~50 Militants Neutralized

Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) conducted an airstrike targeting an Islamic State – Wilayat Sahel (IS-Sahel / ISGS) encampment approximately 38 km northwest of Ménaka city in eastern Mali. FAMa claimed 50+ militants neutralized, with an entire terrorist base including fuel depots, vehicles, and logistics infrastructure destroyed. This was the third FAMa engagement in the Ménaka region within one week. A separate concurrent raid in the Inatabakat area of northern Ménaka reportedly eliminated the high-value target Abou Alghabhas Ichmali. Pro-junta sources reported former pro-government MSA Tuareg fighters integrated into FAMa participated.
