IDF Kills Four Hamas Operatives in Jabalia-Area Strikes, Including Oct. 7 Nukhba Commander
The IDF said Saturday, August 29, 2026 that strikes in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza killed four Hamas operatives. Abd al-Fattah Abu al-Eish, a Nukhba Force commander who invaded Israel on October 7, 2023, was killed alongside Raed Adel Mohammed Alyan, a Hamas military-wing operative; in a separate strike in the same area, the IDF killed Hani Abd al-Hai Fakhri Mazloum, a Nukhba Force company commander, and Hassan Zidan Hassan Deiri, a Hamas sniper, both of whom the military said were involved in trafficking and supplying weapons to Hamas fighters. The IDF said all four had continued advancing terror attacks against troops and civilians and worked to rebuild Hamas's capabilities in systematic violation of the ceasefire, and that precise munitions and aerial surveillance were used beforehand to mitigate harm to civilians.
