IDF Kills Two Nukhba Force Members Who Infiltrated Israel on Oct. 7 in Khan Younis Strike

The IDF said Saturday, August 29, 2026 that a strike in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killed Yasser Abu al-Khair and Mohammed al-Din, both members of Hamas's elite Nukhba Force who took part in the October 7, 2023 invasion of Israel. The military said the pair had continued advancing attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and worked to restore Hamas's terror capabilities, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
