Junta Aircraft and Troops Strike Rakhine, Bago, Sagaing, Chin and Mon States in Single-Day Wave — Civilians Killed in Gwa, Yedashe, Mindat
Myanmar's junta conducted a wave of attacks across five regions on July 10-11, 2026. In Gwa Township, Rakhine State, junta aircraft bombed Pauk Tu Village (hitting a school) and Kalar Chaung Village, killing 4 civilians (including a 3-year-old boy) and wounding two women. In Sin Paing Village, Yedashe Township, Bago Region, a junta fighter jet strike killed civilian Ko Naing Lin (40) via bomb fragments. In Kani Township, Sagaing Region, a junta Mi-35 helicopter dropped bombs near an IDP-sheltering area between Zee Pin Twin and Aung Mingalar villages with no casualties reported. In eastern Kanpetlet and Mindat townships, southern Chin State, junta Y-12 aircraft flew 16 bombing runs (25+ bombs) against Chin People's Army positions as roughly 2,000 junta troops massed with reinforcements. In Asin Village, Ye Township, Mon State, junta soldiers opened fire on six patrolling village militia on motorcycles, killing one.
