Launglone Steel Butterfly Force Drone Strike Kills 2 Junta Personnel at Launglon Police Station
At approximately 10:00 PM on April 10, the Launglone Steel Butterfly Force (LLSBF) dropped two drone bombs on junta military personnel who were gathered at a social event at the Launglon police station in Launglon town, Tanintharyi Region. The attack killed 2 junta personnel and seriously injured 7 others. The LLSBF is a resistance drone unit operating in the southern Tanintharyi Region, which borders Thailand and has seen growing resistance drone operations targeting junta security installations. Tanintharyi Region (also known as Tenasserim) extends along Myanmar's southern peninsula and has been subject to resistance drone attacks against junta checkpoints, police stations, and military convoys as PDF forces expand their operational reach into the deep south. The strike reflects the resistance's expanding drone campaign across multiple geographic fronts, compensating for limited conventional military capabilities with precise improvised strikes.
