Joint Resistance Forces Kill 8 SAC Troops in Ngape Township Kinpwonchaung Gate Raid

At approximately 5:00 AM on April 10, a joint resistance force comprising the People's Revolutionary Army–Magway (PRA-Magway), Chin Defense Force–Asho (CDF-Asho), New Society Army, Minbu District Battalion 8, and the Ngape Township People's Defence Team launched a coordinated assault on the Kinpwonchaung gate outpost in Ngape Township, Magway Region. The 2.5-hour battle resulted in 8 SAC troops killed and many others injured; resistance forces seized 1 MA-1 rifle, 2 carbines, and associated ammunition from the position before withdrawing. No resistance casualties were reported. Ngape Township lies in a contested corridor of Magway Region where the Arakan Army has been expanding operations alongside Magway-based PDF units, creating a widening multi-front pressure on junta positions across central Myanmar. The joint operation reflected growing coordination between ethnic armed organizations and PDF units in the region.
