Junta Airstrikes Hit Five Villages in Nyaunglebin District, Bago Region

Between March 19 and 22, junta forces repeatedly bombed Pho Ta, Shwe Hte Su, Shwe Khar Moe, Dala Seik, and Lein Pin We villages in Ledo (Kyaukkyi) Township, Nyaunglebin District, using drones and Y-12 aircraft. In just two days (March 21–22), Kler Lwee Htoo District recorded 23 Y-12 strikes, 30 rounds of 120mm artillery, and 4 drone attacks, forcing mass civilian displacement. On March 21 alone, a Y-12 strike on Shwe Khe Su village in Saw Htee Township injured one civilian, a 47-year-old man identified as Saw Thay Lar Hae. The Karen National Union (KNU) documented 16 civilian homes, 2 cattle sheds, and 1 oil mill destroyed across the strikes.
