Girkin, Dubinsky, and Kharchenko Convicted of Murder; Life Sentences

The Netherlands District Court delivers its verdict: Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinsky, and Leonid Kharchenko are convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment in absentia. The court finds that all three caused the deaths of 298 people by directing or assisting the deployment of a Russian military Buk missile system to shoot down MH17. All three remain in Russia or occupied Ukraine.
