Pulatov Acquitted: Insufficient Evidence of Direct Criminal Intent

Oleg Pulatov, the only MH17 suspect with legal representation at trial, is acquitted. The court finds insufficient evidence that Pulatov was in the vicinity of the Buk launch site at the time of the launch, and there were no indications he could have intervened or changed the outcome. His acquittal is widely reported as the only partial legal victory for the Russian side.
