Israeli Soldiers and Settlers Kill 11 Palestinians Across Gaza and West Bank

At least 11 Palestinians were killed across Gaza and the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, April 21, according to Palestinian officials and local media. In Gaza: three killed near Khan Younis — including a recently married man — by Israeli fire; one man killed in a drone strike near the Sheikh Nasser neighbourhood east of Khan Younis; Abdullah Dawas, a child, died from head injuries sustained 10 days earlier near al-Fakhoura clinic in Jabalia; one person killed at the Dawla roundabout in Zeitoun, Gaza City; and one woman killed when Israeli naval forces shelled displaced family tents northwest of Beit Lahiya. Separately, the IDF confirmed the killing of Hamas operative Anas Khaled Safi in central Gaza, saying he was planning an imminent attack on troops; a second operative, Ayman Housna (who manufactured Hamas weapons), was killed in central Gaza the previous day. Since the October 2025 ceasefire, at least 777 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed, bringing the cumulative death toll since October 7, 2023 to 72,553.
